I was a new patient several years ago and arrived for a procedure with Dr. Fields's partner three days after his unexpected, sudden death. She was clearly upset (as was the entire staff) but I was touched by the way the staff was clearly supportive of each other and how much they cared about each other. Dr. Fields was professional, kind, and very down to earth. She also observed that I had a problem keeping my eyelids open and referred me to a surgeon who was able to resect the muscle in a very quick, almost painless operation. Very impressive group of people.
