Came into the ER with an injured knee. Dr. Nguyen was great -- she always explained what was going on and what her thought process was (exactly what the problem was with my knee wasn't clear at first), and she was a reassuring presence during an uncomfortable procedure. As I was about to leave, she noticed a spot that had started bleeding again, and sat me back down to make sure it got closed up properly. I left with a referral to a specialist for followup care (she had called and spoken to the specialist to persuade them to squeeze me into their schedule). And, in a first for an ER visit, she even contacted me the next day to see how I was doing and if I needed anything.Top-notch doctoring.
