Patient Reviews
Jun 13, 2021
Dr. Wrigley was my specialist physician for over 20 years. He saved my life when I was 38 years old by the diagnosis of a lethal colon tumor and the rapid coordination with a surgeon to have it removed along with 2/3 of my colon. He continued to my physician for the next two decades until he retired from his clinical practice. I had several episodes of severe diarrhea during those years and he prescribed medication that allowed me not have the removal of my colon and live without external bag. At age 55 I had a reoccurrence of my cancer and had my colon removed and replaced with a J pouch. This treatment like the chemotherapy he prescribed when I was 38 was leading edge medical technology which allowed me not only to survive a disease with a high fatality rate but to live a fairly normal life. He is an outstanding medical professional and it is difficult to find the words to describe the impact he has on my life.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
