Patient Reviews
Apr 12, 2024
On 041124, I followed up on another procedure to determine what is going on with my Prostate. Is it cancer, or is it an enlarged prostate? My 3TMRI shows enlarged prostate, yet PSA numbers, both on regular PSA and 4K test are alarming high. I applaud Dr. T for not wanting to take any chances and recommending a biopsy. He relates that is better to rule it out or catch cancer at an early stage. The transrectal procedure went smooth, and aside from the immense pain at the initial stage of inserting the tube in the rectum, the needle sampling was a breeze. Definitely the toughest point is the initial insertion of the tube up the rectum. I am praying not to go through another biopsy ever again or anytime soon Dr. T and his assistant were very assuring and comforting during the process. Pain at homeis minimal and more of a discomfort. 12 Prostate samples will be examined by the corresponding Lab. My next follow-up appointment is in two weeks. I will keep updates on my continued visits.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
