I came for my annual appointment I reminded them at front desk I would need new contacts. I was told by front desk I wouldn’t be able to get my contacts without them talking to the Dr. When I was taken to the exam room my vision was checked by a technician, my peripheral vision was checked by a technician, my eyes were dilated by a technician. Next an eye scan was done by a technician. Lastly I saw Dr Gordon. He examined my eyes! I asked him about getting contacts that I needed! Dr Gordon told me since my eyes were already dilated he could not check my vision for contacts but.if my eyes had not been dilated.he could have. I let him know that I told the front desk when I arrived. This Is not ok to ask a patient to come back. Dr Gordon should have evaluated me first then directed the tests that needed to be done, not the office staff. I will not go back to this office ever again. I spent 2 hrs in this office & took 4 hrs off from work and couldn’t get a prescription for eye contacts.
