I was referred to Dr. MacKinlay by my family doctor. He took X-ray, MRI etc. He was very patient and explained in detail about my need for surgery. After asking about need for surgery, after surgery, ramifications, etc. I decided to go ahead. He is such a caring man and was willing to answer any questions up until the time I was scheduled. After surgery he has been open to even more questions and I would go back to him without question. Never had surgery before so this was scary. He is a great surgeon and doctor. I have recommended him to several people as well.
