He was the only dr in that hospital that actually cared for his patients! At first I didn’t trust him, but I learned to by the end of my stay there. The hospital itself sucks, staff bully and intentionally patients off. He knew I needed individual counseling, but also knew that just keeping me in there long enough to withdraw off the psychedelic part of the Delta nine was first and foremost! He couldn’t give me the medication he wanted to, because my blood pressure was too high And I was against taking meds. He started me on Latuda, which was lowered after I left the hospital and on a extremely low dose of alprazolam.. After I left the hospital, I continue to take 20 mg of Latuda 30 mg ER 30 mg IR .5 mg alprazolam three times a day with a PRN of .5 as needed. he knew if he had told me I was gonna be on that high of a dose of ADHD med. I would’ve never tried it, the combination of the medication’s work along with therapy that I go to and consistently gone to for over a year.!
