Exceptional trauma doctor. The ER missed a critical event related to my son's traumatic leg injury. By coincidence, Dr. Wilkens happened to be there on an unscheduled day, and noticed the critical issue immediately. He swooped in and calmed and comforted my kids during a chaotic situation. We are forever grateful to Dr. Wilkens for his support, dedication, generosity, thoughtfulness, skill, knowledge, hard work and kindness. His quick, accurate diagnosis and swift actions saved my kid. We will always remember how he demonstrated so much care, concern and respectfulness towards our family.
