Dr. Kim replaced my neck disk 2 months ago and I feel great. The surgery was risky, but I knew I could trust Dr. Kim due to his stellar reputation at my hospital (I'm a surgeon there as well). I also saw a second opinion at Cedars Sinai, but I loved the way Dr. Kim approached the problem and spent a lot of time getting to know my neck anatomy from the CT and MRI scans. I decided it was time to get rid of the neck pain and mostly wanted to have him replace he disk rather than fuse it. My fear was that if I waited longer, the replacement would no longer be an option. The surgery was literally a breeze. I took zero narcotics afterwards. I have been back to surfing 3 days a week and I am so glad I chose Dr. Kim to do my surgery.
