Dr. Murphy operated on my husband's infected knee twice, flushing out an infection. On both occasions he was very thorough, letting us know what he would be doing, and what to expect following the surgery. Both in the hospital and in follow up appointments in his office, Dr Murphy was very helpful as he explained to us what we could expect in the healing process and what to watch for in terms of the infection returning. He also gave us good information regarding physical therapy, pros and cons. I highly recommend him if your searching for an orthopedic surgeon.
