Patient Reviews
Jan 01, 2017
I live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and have had an ileal-pouch for 34 years and an ileostomy for 52 years. Pouchitis has been a major problem, and I have suffered severe side effects from flagyl and Cipro. My wife suggested a low dose of these drugs applied topically to the pouch might work. When I googled that I found Dr. Kim Isaacs seminal paper "How Do You Treat Pouchitis?" This is amazing and it seems to be working for me. My local gastroenterologist does not think it will work. Thks

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
