Dr. Fisher has been one of the doctors who has cared for my mother, during an extended stay at UMass hospital, Lake Ave.. campus. The doctor spent several hours discussing diagnoses and a care plan for my mother, when she was in the ICU, with my sisters and I. This was over multiple meetings. I was left feeling that she had heard our concerns, and I was comfortable with plan discussed. My mother improved and was able to leave the ICU, which was great. Unfortunately, this also meant that my mother would no longer be under Dr. Fisher’s care. The compassion shown by Dr. Fisher in the time that she spent with my sisters and I is reason for my high rating.
