I was admitted to Stanford under the care of Doctor Koen Nieman and his cardiology team. Doctor Nieman is compassionate and understanding. I came from another hospital with possible ASD diagnosis, when I transferred to Stanford, he carefully requested imaging from the previous hospital and ran additional tests to find the actual cause of my condition. Doctor Nieman is excellent with evaluating my medical problems through his examination by asking the appropriate questions to find the cause of my condition. He also involved other specialists for additional testings when he suspected it could be other organs involved. He takes time to answer questions, address my concern throughly. Hes knowledgeable, kind, thorough and highly skilled. I am happy I found quality care through Doctor Nieman. I recommend Doctor Nieman for anyone who is looking for a cardiologist because this physician is knowledgeable, responsible, ethical and caring.
