A little over a year ago, I fell backward on a piece of ice, landing on my entire right side, leg, buttocks, back. Everything seemed fine but after several months I stared having pain in my right buttock and pins/needles in my foot. As time went by, I started getting pain up and down my leg as well as a numbness. I went to a neurologist and she recommended 3 neurosurgeons of which Dr. Margetis was one. After reading all the reviews, I chose Dr. Margetis and I am so thankful I did. I had surgery on my back (disc partially removed) and a repositioning of my nerve which was being pressed on by my disc. I woke up from surgery pain free and what a great feeling not to have pain in my leg and buttock after so many months of suffering. Thank you Dr. Margetis for your thoughtful and caring manner and your ability to rectify my situation.
