I initially consulted with Dr. Ferguson a few of years ago, after sustaining thoracic & lumbar fractures. Dr. F successfully performed medial branch blocks & ablations, & referred me for a spinal cord stimulator. Unfortunately, due to insurance constraints, this was denied, & Dr. F collaborated with me to develop a treatment plan that provided optimal relief, enabling me to maintain my active lifestyle without pain interference. Recently, I sustained a neck injury in an accident. Dr. F promptly accommodated me the following day, despite it being his surgery day, & expedited my imaging & treatment, culminating in an epidural steroid injection this morning. I presented with high anxiety, which Dr. F noticed & addressed by thoroughly explaining the procedure before & during its execution, thereby alleviating my uncertainty. 6 hors later, I am profoundly grateful to be experiencing no pain or restricted mobility, & I attribute this entirely to Dr. F‘s expertise & empathetic approach!
