Dr. Day achieved an outstanding result in closing a Mohs surgical wound on the end of my nose. I understand this is a difficult area to treat and the end result is obviously quite noticeable. It’s clear he carefully planned and performed the surgery (about 90 minutes long) to achieve the best possible result. He maintained symmetry to improve esthetics by performing a bilateral flap reconstruction even though this required more planning and surgical time. This is in contrast to other methods which would have been quicker and easier but with an inferior visual result. I’m very pleased with my choice to have Dr. Day perform my surgery. He is skilled, well organized and clearly explains the surgical process to the level of your interest. He explains what the patient can expect going forward and what his expectations of the patient are to achieve the best outcome.
