Every dentist I've had before would berate me at every visit that I wasn't doing enough. Dr. KOSTENKO does not do that. He makes me feel good about my oral hygiene routine and knows I am trying. He is calm and unfailingly kind. I had to get a cavity filled and had some anxiety about it. When he started to drill, there wasn't quite enough novocaine and I had a panic attack. He and his staff patiently waited and comforted me until the extra novocaine kicked in and was calm enough to proceed. That kind of understanding and care is rare- I've had a number of dentists that would not have been so calm and understanding. They didn't rush me, and a hygienist held my hand during the panic attack. Since then I've had no issues and cleanings are a breeze. Nice guy- I'm a patient for life.
