I had heart failure after catching the flu on a trip. My doctors recommended a special kind of pacemaker, along with a defibrillator, to make my heart stronger. This device needed a special wire on the left side of my heart. Unfortunately, I was born with challenging blood vessels, and after two unsuccessful surgeries, I was left exhausted, depressed, and without much hope. Then, my cardiologist referred me to Dr. Kritt at OU. Dr. Kritt was realistic with me—he didn’t make any empty promises about what he could do. But I decided to trust him and give it one more try. Dr. Kritt was incredibly dedicated and refused to give up, putting in long hours to make the surgery work. Amazingly, he succeeded! Right from the first day after the operation, I could feel a difference in my heart. Now, six months later, my heart function is completely back to normal! For me, a man in my 40s, this is everything. I am so grateful that God put Dr. Kritt in my path. Thank you so much, Dr. Kritt.
