In 1995, I collapsed due to an ectopic pregnancy. The ER assigned Dr Christopher to my case. He was very young and I wondered if he was even old enough to practice medicine. Clearly he was. Basically he saved my life and I was able to keep both my tubes. Fast forward to July 1999. He delivered my son Shane as I was nearing age 39. Not only is he an amazing Obstetrician, but it was as if he was a Doula, lovingly coaching me through every moment and going to bat for me when things got difficult. He stuck firmly by my side during my pregnancy, delivery and afterwords, trusting my intuition at every turn. My labor was long and ultimately, he needed to perform a C-section. My trust in him was beyond 100% and I had no fear as he made me feel very confident with the procedure with every turn. It went very well and my recovery was super easy and quick, and left me with hardly any visible scar. My entire pregnancy and delivery, was a wonderful experience. As I look at my beautiful 25 year old son, I think about how fortunate I was to have had him as my Doctor!!!
