My lymphedema has now officially been with me for over five years. On September 15, 2021, Doctor Kyle Xu performed lymph node transplant, where he transplanted lymph nodes from other parts of my body into the artery and veins of the affected limb. With prescribed massage therapy and recommended compression garments, my leg has come along way. One year later 09/15/2022 The color changed from an ashy grayish look to now looking even more beautiful than the unaffected limb. One year later I am now getting ready to do my Lymphedema Liposuction where Doctor Xu will make my leg look normal and allow me to privilege to finally fit into clothing without any adjustments. (this is the plan) I am excited and cant wait for the procedure to be done as after five years of living behind oversized clothing and being unable to attend certain functions, the possibility exists that I can finally appear to live a normal lifestyle in my body, on my own two beautiful legs. He is the best !!
