Truly grateful that I was able to have the privilege of having Dr. Ehlers as the provider for my spine issues. From the first day I saw Dr. Ehlers in consult for my almost 2 months of severe leg and spine pain and having tried and exhausted alternative measures, both my spouse and I felt comfortable with Dr. Ehlers recommendations and treatment. The staff at Midwest Surgical Hospital where Dr. Ehlers performed the surgery was A-mazing. The staff (kudos to my nurse, Clair) ensured all our questions were answered and that I was comfortable as I could be before the procedure. After the procedure, Dr. Ehlers ensured my spouse was debriefed on my procedure. Props to Dr. Ehlers speaking in terms the layman could understand! Here it is one day postop and yet again, I cannot thank Dr. Ehlers for his outstanding surgical skills. I am standing upright and have very minimal pain at the incision site. Amazing surgeon that I would emphatically recommend to family and friends.
