Dr. Carlton is an amazing doctor, she is very blunt and honest, she 100% wanted what was best for not just me but my baby. She had me rethink my feelings, wants and expectations during my pregnancy and helped me realize that not everything is cupcakes and rainbows. I was wanting a vbac and she told me I wasn’t a good candidate which made me frustrated at the beginning of my second pregnancy, as I got further along she explained why she felt I wasn’t a good candidate, as well as the risks of a vbac such as uterine ruptured, the possibility of not being able to dilate, shoulder distocia, Ive never had a baby vaginally before so anything could happen. I ended up getting a repeat C-section by Dr. Carlton and got a beautiful baby girl. People like me need a straight forward Dr. like her thank you Dr. Carlton for everything you did for me during my pregnancy and I look forward to continuing my care with you.
