Never thought we would be in the situation to need IVF, but once we were there, I got a tip from a friend here in Aspen to go to CCRM with Dr. Ehrhart. She’s no nonsense, doesn’t sugarcoat anything, and you know the facts straight away. (You need to know your odds, even if they aren’t great.)That said, she is very encouraging and your champion throughout the process. I’ve heard about other clinics in other parts of the country, and by far CCRM has got their system down. And they listen to your body—so if you need to get an egg retrieval or ultrasound or an embryo transfer on a Sunday (I did), that’s when you get it. They don’t close arbitrarily, which I learned can be EVERYTHING in this process.
