I respond poorly to anaesthesia, so had concerns going in for endoscopy. Dr. Baquet took the time to hear and understand my previous experience and what information I had, and she was able to assure me that I would not have to suffer through this procedure awake. She was warm and professional in-person, and - when I had an unexpected and entirely new side-effect post-surgery, and reached out to her office - her office and associates were also very helpful, and addressed my concerns.Dr. Baquet was out of the office for a couple of weeks, starting the day after my procedure - but she heard about my side-effects when she checked in the next day. Wednesday morning, after the procedure on Monday, she called to make sure all of my questions were answered, provide additional information, and offer strategies I can bring to anaesthesiologists in the future. I have never met a medical pro who genuinely seemed to care more than Dr. Baquet. I'd send her a gift basket, but this is all I got.
