Patient Reviews

I have experience working with directly with physicians in hospital settings. I also have had several orthopedic surgeries including, three meniscectomies, two total knee replacements, repair of a torn rotator cuff, and several knee injections for pre-knee replacement care. This was my first visit to Dr. Sasala. I have a significant tear of my left quadriceps...a fairly rare type of injury. There are not many orthopedic surgeon who have experience with this type of injury. Dr. Sasala was prepared for my visit, reviewed an MRI done previously ordered by another physician, and had reviewed the previous medical notes regarding this injury. He did an exam of my leg and then took time to explain his opinion, my condition, options...including surgery...what to expect after surgery, potential improvement after surgery, and potential risks if I chose not to have surgery. He was professional, friendly, and honest with regards to options...including the unknown. I highly recommend him
