I was so afraid to see a psychiatrist because of all the terrible stories I've heard about bad ones (cold, uncaring, prone to making stereotypical assumptions). I did a lot of research and was lucky to be able to see Dr Vasileff. She is none of these things. She listens and actually treats her patients as though they're the experts on their own minds and bodies. I never felt put down or beneath her in any way. Very relatable and caring. She made a huge difference in my mental health journey.
