After consultation, Dr. Kawam performed a spinal block for my knee surgery. Wonderful bedside manner. Gently competent and seriously responsive to my questions and wishes. Professional and empathetic in bearing. Concerned with my comfort. I greatly respect and appreciate Dr. Kawam for her treatment during my surgery. If one could have an anesthesiologist/pain specialist on call, she would be my choice. Highly recommended.
