Admittedly, I am a terrible patient. Something has to be seriously wrong with me to go to a doctor. After a few very disappointing (somewhat traumatizing) medical experiences, I have fully neglected my own self-care. Insert current medical issues that have become too much and I was forced to call New England OB-GYN. I asked for a recommendation for a GYN that was approachable and compassionate. Someone with a keen ability to listen and educate in a supportive way for those of us that are doctor averse. I was referred to Dr. Lampert and I am still blown away by how amazing she was. I was the last patient of the day and from the second Dr. Lampert walked in the room with a welcoming smile, my anxiousness disappeared. There was not a trace of rushing, she listened intently, provided incredible advice and gave me the appropriate referrals. As I walked out of the quiet office (everyone else had long gone home) I was overwhelmed with gratitude and dare I say it, excited for the next visit.
