My husband had an umbilical hernia that turned out to not be so cut and dry. He ended up having 2 more surgeries and spending 5 days in the hospital, 2 different times. Dr. Alvord always made herself available - she even came back from her vacation when he ended up back in the hospital the second time. Dr. Alvord explained everything to us in terms we could understand. Her staff was very caring as well. Bottom line is that Dr. Alvord treated us like she would treat her own family. Toppenish Hospital is small but the quality of care we received was amazing.
