Patient Reviews
Apr 08, 2020
Dr. Russo is an Absolutely Outstanding Cardiovascular Surgeon, he saved my husband's life almost five years ago. My husband had a double Aortic Dissection along with several other arteries that dissected throughout his body. This was all due to a valve issue that my husband wasn't aware he had, even after seeing several different Cardiologists in the military and after he was out of the military! He didn't even have what the doctors were treating him for! The very first time Dr. Russo seen him he knew EXACTLY what my husband had, he had never met my husband until the day he was life flighted to Hamot hospital! My husband was born with the defective heart issue and was misdiagnosed his entire life! He was fifty-seven years old when he almost died because of a misdiagnosis! We are eternally grateful for Dr. Russo and the fact that he is such an amazingly talented surgeon! We truly wish he was still at Hamot Hospital! He is truly our family's angel ?
