Patient Reviews
Nov 03, 2023
I got a biopsy near my thyroid that came back as "Suspicious for Malignancy for Papillary Carcinoma". I have a suspicious nodule only the right side of my thyroid. I met endocrinologists and thyroid surgeons (before dr. Lee) who told me that "Suspicious for Malignancy is almost always cancer". In my mind, "almost always" means that 99.999% I have cancer, and I was ready to give up on my thyroid. Then, I met dr. Lee. Dr. Lee was the first dr. that suggested to remove only half of my thyroid, and wait for the final pathology report to see if it's really cancer. After some digging, apparently the chances that "Suspicious for Malignancy" is cancer are about 70% or so. Long story short, dr. Lee saved half of my thyroid and allowed me to live life without thyroid meds. Dr. Lee is an angel!!! The reason that I didn't choose dr. Lee as my surgeon is because I don't want to have the surgery in the horrible Dominican Hospital :( Dominican is not intended for humans. Avoid Dominican at any cost!
