I met Dr. Curylo in the emergency room in November, 2020. I was in more than extreme pain. I’m guessing he was on-call and visited me early in the morning. He did a test or two, and determined that I needed emergency spine surgery in order to avoid paralysis from the waist down. He had a prior surgery scheduled, but bumped them in order to perform surgery on me. Surgery was successful, and he did a good job of explaining, follow-up, etc. as it turns out, I have a minor case of cauda equina syndrome, but I can do pretty well. I thank God every day he came in when he did and did my surgery so promptly. I’ve read that had it gone too much longer, I would have been paralyzed from the waist down. Thank you Dr. Curylo. I can’t express my thanks enough.
