I’ve been receiving psychiatric care for depression and anxiety for over ten years and have worked with several providers to varying degrees of success. I’ve been seeing Dr. Bacon semi-regularly over the last three months and have made more progress in managing my depression, anxiety, insomnia, and ADHD in this short time than I have in ten years. I believe Dr. Bacon is a fairly new attending psychiatrist as he just completed his residency at University of Colorado this past year. Because of this, his practice is incredibly evidence-based and progressive compared to the more seasoned physicians I’ve seen previously. He manages to convey both confidence and humility and treats our appointments as a collaborative effort to develop a plan of care. He is extremely respectful of my experiences and opinions and often seems to understand what I’m trying to express better than I do myself. He is non-judgmental, personable, and clearly passionate about his specialty.
