Patient Reviews
Mar 20, 2024
I was referred to Dr Elms for a right inguinal hernia. He was very thorough in explaining the different options for the procedure. He answered all of my questions and took the time to explain what would happen during and after surgery. We decided on using robotics for the repair which offered a quicker recovery, less pain and smaller incisions. While during the procedure he noticed the left side needed the mesh repair as well to avoid future complications which we discussed as a possibility prior to surgery. Aside from still being on lifting restrictions, my post-op appointment has me recovering as scheduled and within two weeks later I’m back at work and feeling back to normal with minimal soreness. In my opinion, Dr Elms was professional, knowledgeable, experienced with a positive bedside manner.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
