SHE'S A MIRACLE WORKER! Around this time last year, I discovered some major intimacy issues that I was having. It was so painful to the point of tears and extreme soreness. I went to my gynecologist and she referred me to Dr. Wang. At first, I was so embarrassed and felt defeated as a woman because this part of relationships was supposed to be fun. On our first meeting, Dr. Wang wanted to know everything about my health history. She didn't rush me and didn't judge me on past, which is a BIG THING! Once I told her about my history she was able to diagnose me with vaginism. I was terrified. I cried because nothing bad happened to me sexually and I was confused at to why I had this. She explained to me that a lot of women have it, due to traumatic events like breaks, car accidents, bullying or anything serious as such. But, these women just don't get seen and as a result the statistics of the diagnosis are skewed. She was very knowledgeable and never talked above or over me. Before
