I met with Dr. Islam between 2009 & 2013. He was great-his treatment was helpful & assisted me with my goals of functioning in my job while coping with the chronic stress of highly interdisciplinary research. I was working in a lab I really liked (at a good school) when I was his patient, but regardless, the work itself was challenging (especially given that I had switched fields some and found a good fit rather late in life). I consulted with Dr. Islam for help with issues with attention/concentration. He was always personally respectful & kind. The one staff member at his clinic back then was really sweet too. I still remember her-though her name escapes me now-Betty or Betsy I think? I met with another really good psychiatrist in ca later (early 2012), but Dr. Islam helped me again after I briefly returned to TN. It was a tough time & I remember him with respect & gratitude. I know things would have been a lot harder for me during that period without his help
