Dr Everson (was my psychiatrist for 6 years,) she is unconventional, & at times, I absolutely hated her; however as a BPD-FS2 ( borderline personality disorder w/ul psychopathic/narcissist) she refused to give up on me, even when dozens of other Psychiatrists/psychologists did. Although I may not feel empathy, compassion, regret, remorse or most importantly what anyone thinks about me or my actions, except about 5 people on this planet, Dr Everson was able to bring to light how much of a toll it took on those 5 people & their lives; through that opening/hole of light, or (for me an) entirely new perspective, for the 1st time in my life I cared & could see the impact of my behaviors differently. Dr Everson taught me it didn’t mean I was bad, instead I could use those traits for good/positive. I say Dr Everson gave me a conscious, although my family says & can attest, that she literally saved my life, from certain death or prison. I was her patient from age 22-27 & I’m now 40.
