Dr Martin is one of the few surgeons I’ve had the pleasure of going to who actually look beyond the procedure they are going to perform and look at the “whole person. Dr Martin took my comorbidities into account when creating my surgical plan to ensure maximum success. Dr Martin also ensured that I see anesthesiology pre op to formulate a plan well in advance of the surgery so that I did not have the same pain control issues I had constantly dealt with in the past. When I stayed in the hospital overnight Dr Martin was extremely communicative and took care to spend almost an hour with me the morning of discharge going over post op instructions and medications. Had some insurance issues with one of the meds which dr Martin worked tirelessly to correct and make it work out. Anyone in need of general surgery should look no further than Dr Martin.
