I have finally found a urological physician! His knowledge, protocols, staff have displayed their superiority to other doctors I have seen. I was referred to Dr Colton by my primary care physician after an intensive care experience likely caused by the mistakes of another Naples area urololgist. Dr Colton reviewed my perscriptions and removed one of the drugs I had been taking for years that he deemed unnecessary and provided the proof unlike others that simply continued to perscribe as this drug is a common 'go-to' drug. The same holds true regarding surgery. 'Unless I am 85% sure I can correct your problem, I won't perform surgery, even though it's a simple procedure for me. I recommend other tests that may indicate a different path.' Needless to say, I feel fortunate that I did not schedule an operation with other doctors who were ready to proceed. His approach has proven to me that he is more interested in correcting my condition versus following traditional methods.
