This is not a current issue. 25 years ago, Dr. Colman diagnosed me with a large base of tongue cancer. He declared it an emergency, since it was invading my lymph system and carotid artery. Two days later, he did an 8 hour surgery on my tongue, removed the cancer and reconstructed my tongue using a flap from my pectoralis major muscle. I’m still here and talking without distortion. This man is a superb, gifted surgeon and I am thankful for him every day if my life.
