Patient Reviews
Nov 08, 2024
If you get referred to Dr. Pelletier for your heart surgery, consider yourself fortunate. He didn't rush into surgery, seeing if medications might work. When they did not, he gave me the pros and cons of choosing mitral valve repair surgery now or later in life, making me feel like it was my decision. He also decided I was a candidate for minimally invasive surgery which made recovery much quicker and left only a small scar on the side of my breast. At the preoperative appointments including one via phone so that I did not have to make the drive downtown, he explained everything thoroughly and took the time to answer every question. At every appointment he is confident, calm and kind. I was always impressed impressed Dr. Pelletier could talk about your situation including other doctor visits without looking at a screen or notes. Three weeks after surgery I was attending ball games, 5 weeks later vacationing and in 7 weeks I was back on the pickleball court.
