Dr. Almeida El Ramey is very knowledgeable in this field. I originally went to Urgent Care and I was told to get my eyes checked and to see a neurologist. UC no mention of going straight to the ER. When I called Dr. El Ramey's office and explained what was going on with me I got a quick appointment with her. Her staff fit me in right away. Dr. El Ramey was shocked that I was not sent to the ER and told me to get an appointment to have an MRI MRA. Everywhere I called the appointment was weeks away. She told her assistant to find somewhere that has an appointment right away. Within minutes I had an appointment that afternoon. She also referred me to an ophthalmologist by the name of Akintomide Apara because my symptom was flashing lights in my left eye that caused me to lose my peripheral vision in that eye. Once it was confirmed that I had a mini-stroke she told me to go straight to Memorial Hospital and tell that I had a stroke. I love these two doctors.
