When surgery goes well, it’s easy to credit the surgeon. A bit of thought brings to mind the anesthesiologist who provided the unseen benefit of safe and restful sleep during the procedure. Dr. Heropolous chatted with me before the procedure, explaining that I’d be a bit deeper asleep than during my cataract surgeries and was attentive and pleasant throughout. Thanks, Dr. Heropolous!
