the midwife who put in my original IUD put it through my uterus and into my colon. it had to be surgically removed through my abdomen. i was gaslit about my pain and have PTSD from it. Dr Pardo-Friedman did my surgery and placed my new IUD. he was so calm and understanding. he was gentle. he truly cared about me and my pain. he was everything my midwife should have been and i’m grateful for his service to me. i would recommend him to anyone, but especially those with birth or women’s health trauma. Dr. Pardo-Friedman, if you’re reading this, thank you. you have no idea how much that experience meant to me.
