Patient Reviews
Aug 06, 2019
If you need your eyes checked Dr. Mark Latina may not be your best choice. He is extremely thorough and conscientious. He takes many of the most difficult and complex cases. Dr. Latina has made significant contributions to his field having authored scores of scholarly papers in the field and having invented at least one procedure that can repeatedly relive pressure in the eye. Previous methods could not be repeated. Be prepared to spend some time in a visit especially if you have serious conditions. He may run a number of tests. In between you may wait in the waiting room. He is affiliated with several hospitals including Mass Eye and Ear and Mass General which tells me something. If you have serious problems with your eyes, it would be worth your while to at least consult with him.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
