Several years ago Dr. Heiman saved my life after Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT discharged me with a life-threatening illness. I was pumped with steroids from a hyperthyroid explosion, then sent home with an inflamed heart. Several hours later after being discharged from Backus Hospital, I ended up on the doorsteps of St. Vincent’s with horrendous burning chest pains that continued to increased upon my release from Backus Hospital. While in the care of St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dr Mark Heiman immediately ordered test, which diagnosed me with a sack of fluid and or an inflamed, burning heart. Promptly, Dr. Heiman began my treatment for Pericarditis. He’s an Amazing Doctor and a Specialist in his field!
