Patient Reviews
Dec 12, 2023
I was treated, in 1990, by Dr. Kilgus at William S. Hall Psychiatric Institute, in 1989, and he was able to diagnose my particular mental illness and get me on the right track with medications right away. After first being admitted, I was so discouraged and out of control. But Dr. Kilgus gave me encouragement that my life could be balanced and healthy from that time forward. He made sure to mention that I may need the medication the rest of my life, and he even helped me find a doctor who would follow me in Texas, where I moved after being discharged. One of the best things that Dr. Kilgus did for me was giving me hope for my future! He is a strong believer in Jesus Christ, and he helped me realize that no matter what challenges I face in life, I will never be alone...God is with me because I trust in Him. Now, almost 34 years later, I've been married for close to 30 years and have raised 2 kids who are now 21! I thank God for Dr. Kilgus and encourage others to be in his care

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
