Patient Reviews
Jan 22, 2023
Dr. Dixon was my now-deceased wife's cardiologist who implanted and managed her pacemaker-defibrilator. Extremely caring and competent, he provided phenominal care and stayed by her bedside on a New Year's Eve when she suffered an unexpected terminal heart failure, caring personally for her until her last breath. From what I have heard from others, this atypical care seems to be TYPICAL of the concern and dedication of this remarkable physician. At our request, he did not hesitate to phone and arrange for an acknowledged leading surgeon/professor at a distant teaching hospital to perform a cardiac ablation for her that seemed especially challenging.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
