Dr. Podwal has been my dermatologist for over 2 decades. I was in his office on 9/11 when he worked through the mayhem not knowing if he'd have a way out of Manhattan that day. I never wrote a review even though his every treatment was effective. I had total confidence in him & often made long trips to see him because I was away a lot. Most recently he's been out of the office & I'm writing a review now as it's high time to document this old-style, rare breed of dedication & excellence. He always knew the necessary treatment & I always left knowing I had it. I had an engorged tick having spent so much time in the Catskills & being his cautious & diligent self, after removing it by cutting just the right depth to not leave a hole but get it out completely, he treated me for lyme disease because if I waited to learn definitively I'd definitely have it. Removing lesions never hurt. He took seriously the weighty job of being a doctor & also created a warm environment. Thank you Dr Podwal.
