Dr Soverinsky is the first & only psychiatrist I’ve ever visited that truly understands the science behind the various prescription medicines. He’s not a pill pusher like many others are. He performs a deep analysis of symptoms and couples that with the science & biology that he’s adept at identifying as relevant. As a scientist myself, I appreciate his disciplined approach, and his ingenuity in safely combining medicines to attack the cause of problems in direct, efficient ways. He has done more to help my cognitive issues related to multiple head injuries, ADD, and anxiety than all other psychiatrists I’ve seen combined. That’s not an exaggeration. I can honestly say that based on my significant improvement the past 2 years. Dr S may not have the bedside manner of Mother Teresa, but don’t be put off by his bluntness. He’s blunt for a reason — there’s a good chance he’ll significantly help you and he knows time is of the essence. He actually has a great sense of humor.
